On April 29 at the Diocesan Administration of the Smolensk Diocese and on May 7 at the Branch of the National Research University "MEI" meetings of the participants of the project "Pearl Necklace of Holy Russia" took place in preparation for the trip of the project team to the city of Mogilev.
The meetings were attended by the project leader, the rector of the Church of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church, the head of the Smolensk diocese's relationship with society and the media, Archpriest Valery Ryabokon, acting rector for the educational work of the Smolensk Orthodox Theological Seminary, priest Dmitry Gamilovsky, project curator Smolensk , Deputy Head of the Smolensk Diocese Department for Church Relations with Society and the Media Maria Zhukova, Diocesan Operator TV studio "Saint Mercurius" Denis Artemenko, project participants - students of four universities of Smolensk.
During the meetings, working issues of preparing the trip were discussed: a list of cultural attractions for the visit was agreed, a route was developed, a video script about the city was prepared. Students of the National Research University "MEI" branch in Smolensk are engaged in preparing the tourist case of Mogilev.
On May 14, during the trip, the guys from all universities - participants will hold a presentation of the project “Pearl Necklace of Holy Russia” in the Belarusian-Russian University.
